Job Summary Sabre is seeking an experienced TPF Consultant to support the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of high-volume transaction processing systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with IBM TPF (Transaction Processing Facility) and related mainframe technologies, with the ability to work effectively in a complex, mission-critical environment. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications running on the IBM TPF platform.

Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

Develop and maintain TPF applications using Assembler and C/C++, as applicable.

Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

Support system performance, reliability, scalability, and availability.

Work with cross-functional teams including application developers, architects, QA, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.

Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, testing, and deployment activities.

Develop and maintain technical documentation for applications and processes.

Support application modernization and integration initiatives where required.

Participate in production support and provide timely resolution of critical issues.

Follow established development standards, change-management processes, and security practices.

Required Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with IBM TPF.

Experience developing and maintaining TPF applications.

Strong programming experience with Assembler and/or C/C++.

Experience working in large-scale, high-volume transaction processing environments.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Experience with software development lifecycle processes.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with distributed technical teams.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the airline, travel, reservations, or transportation technology domain.

Experience with Sabre or similar airline reservation systems.

Knowledge of TPF system architecture and transaction processing.

Experience with mainframe development and production support.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
