Job Description

This role focuses on modernizing the Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) platform for various product, data, and enterprise application teams. The DevOps Engineer will lead the migration of applications to GitHub Actions, enhancing operational efficiency and developer productivity. Collaboration with development teams and administration of GitHub Enterprise will be key components of the role, ensuring best practices in DevOps are implemented across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the migration of applications from Octopus Deploy and TeamCity to GitHub Actions to enhance deployment efficiency. Support and maintain self-hosted GitHub Actions runner infrastructure to ensure reliable CI/CD operations. Design and develop reusable workflows that streamline software delivery processes across multiple teams. Manage infrastructure-as-code resources, utilizing tools like Terraform and Helm to automate deployments. Partner with development teams to implement DevOps best practices and improve overall software delivery.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related role. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Hands-on experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and automation solutions. Working knowledge of GitHub Actions and software delivery practices. Experience with Kubernetes and Linux-based systems, as well as infrastructure-as-code tools.
