Open Until Filled Employment Opportunity The City of Orem is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer with experience with .Net Core, React, Ionic, C#, HTML, SQL, and JavaScript to join our dynamic development team. As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cutting-edge software solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, architect software systems, and deliver high-quality code. Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 2. Basic knowledger of React, C#, HTML, SQL, and JavaScript, with an understanding of their underlying principles and best practices. 3. Experience in developing responsive web applications using React and related frameworks/libraries. 4. Proficiency in C# programming, including familiarity with .NET Core framework. 5. Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with experience in front-end development. 6. Experience in SQL/Link and database design, with the ability to write efficient and optimized queries. 7. Familiarity with software development methodologies, particularly Agile/Scrum. 8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions. 9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and across various stakeholders. 10. Prior experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus. Pay and Benefits The current salary range for Software Engineers is $36.05 to $55.76 hourly ($74,988.00 - $115,975.91 Annually) Individual starting salary generally starts at the lower end of the range, but may depend on qualifications, certifications, and experience.
