Job Description We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to design, modernize, deploy, and sustain mission-critical applications within a secure DoD environment. The role supports the full technology stack, including responsive user interfaces, back-end services and APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript, Python, Spring Boot, database technologies, cloud services, infrastructure as code, and DevSecOps. DISA or DISA mission-partner experience is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications across front-end, API, business-logic, database, and data-access layers. Develop application enhancements and modernization solutions using Java, JavaScript, Python, Spring Boot, HTML, and CSS. Build responsive and accessible user interfaces, secure back-end services, APIs, system integrations, and database components. Design and modernize database architectures, queries, schemas, and data models to improve scalability, performance, and data integrity. Collaborate with UX, engineering, cybersecurity, and program stakeholders throughout the full application-development lifecycle. Develop automated unit, integration, performance, and deployment tests; conduct code reviews focused on security, quality, and maintainability. Troubleshoot application, database, integration, infrastructure, and production issues across development, testing, and operational environments. Support CI/CD, service staging, deployment orchestration, infrastructure automation, and configuration management using CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, and Bitbucket. Support release management, monitoring, alerting, incident response, patching, logging, vulnerability remediation, compliance tracking, reliability, and availability. Maintain code and technical documentation, including designs, APIs, build guides, diagrams, procedures, and runbooks; participate in Agile ceremonies and Jira-based task tracking. Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree and at least eight years of IT or software development experience. Full-stack development experience across front-end, back-end, APIs, and databases. Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, SQL, and server-side development. Hands-on experience in at least three areas, including Oracle, SQL Server, Java, cloud, data integration, automated testing, or DevSecOps. Strong experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices. Experience with GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, YAML, and database technologies. At least four years of experience with Ansible, Terraform, JMeter, AWS services, or Docker. Experience with deployment automation, infrastructure as code, and security configuration management. Ability to work effectively across the full software development lifecycle. U.S. citizenship and ability to work 100% onsite are required. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience supporting DISA or DISA mission partners.
