$66.64-$95.20 Per Hr Description Join a dynamic team as a Mainframe Engineer in a remote role, focusing on designing and implementing automation solutions. This contract position requires expertise in mainframe systems and offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies to enhance operational efficiency and reliability. Key Responsibilities Investigate and resolve operational, technical, and business problems. Develop and implement automation solutions for enterprise systems. Communicate technical information clearly to various stakeholders. Lead and mentor team members to promote best practices. Participate in on-call rotations as needed. Qualifications Expert-level experience with system automation for mainframe environments. Advanced programming experience in scripting languages for automation. Strong knowledge of high-availability and recovery solutions. Experience with integration of monitoring and event management tools. Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience preferred.
