Job Description
Software Developer (C/C++/C#) Merrifield, VA $130,000 plus benefits Candidates must be able to work without sponsorship Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer with a strong educational background and hands-on programming experience. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Development (or a related field) from an accredited university and demonstrate proficiency in modern development tools and languages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using C, C++, and/or C#.
- Utilize Microsoft Visual Studio for development, debugging, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Development, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, and/or C#.
- Experience working with Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience with version control systems such as GitHub.
- Familiarity with enterprise systems/environments such as EBS (e.g., Oracle E-Business Suite or similar).
- Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Knowledge of software testing and debugging techniques.
- Experience integrating applications with enterprise platforms.
