This is a hands-on technical leadership role for an experienced Java engineer who can contribute to architecture, development, production support, mentoring, and end-to-end delivery. Must-Have Skills Strong hands-on Java development experience Spring Boot , REST APIs, and microservices Kubernetes and Docker GitLab and GitLab CI/CD Cassandra — distributed NoSQL data modeling and querying Apigee/API Gateway — configuration, proxies, and policies Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools , such as GitHub Copilot and/or Claude Code Strong troubleshooting, code review, and technical leadership skills Nice-to-Have Skills AWS, GCP, or Azure Kafka or RabbitMQ Helm charts and/or Kubernetes operators Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK OAuth2, JWT, and mTLS Agile/Scrum experience Telecommunications industry experience Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain production-grade Java/Spring Boot microservices Build scalable REST APIs and cloud-native applications Deploy, scale, and manage applications on Kubernetes Develop and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines Design Cassandra data models and queries Configure and manage Apigee API gateways, proxies, and policies Use AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, debugging, code reviews, and optimization Participate in architecture discussions, technical design, code reviews, and sprint planning Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call support Mentor team members and contribute to engineering best practices Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Product, and other cross-functional teams Candidate Requirements Local candidates only Must be comfortable with an in-person interview Strong hands-on development experience is required This is a technical leadership role , not a purely managerial position Telecommunications experience is preferred Technical Stack Java | Spring Boot | Kubernetes | Docker | GitLab | Cassandra | Apigee | GitHub Copilot | Claude Code Interested candidates can send their updated resume, current location, availability, and contact details to
