DUTIES:
Design, code, test, debug, and document new and existing components to ensure that software meets business, quality, and operational needs. Responsible for the design and development of various initiatives for customer and employees' digital experience across our consumer distribution channels. Lead the software product development life cycle from inception to production launch and post-production support. Design modular and scalable web components. Lead large cross-organizational software development projects. Use current web and micro-service technologies. Align development teams on a shared technical direction and partner said teams to elaborate on the solution and its interfaces. Work with portfolio stakeholders and solution and enterprise architects to develop, analyze, split, and realize the implementation of enablers. Build high quality code following unit testing and test-driven development. Establish critical NFRs at the solution level and participate in the definition of others. Participate in code and document reviews. Collaborate with peer organizations, dev ops, and support organizations on technical issues and provide guidance. Interpret and translate business needs into technical requirements and accurate estimates. Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality and performance. Work with teams to troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently. Apply technical expertise to resolve programming and design problems. Focus on scalability, security, and availability of all applications and processes. Contribute to design and architecture in order to enable secure, scalable, and maintainable software. Contribute to technical roadmaps and technical debt elimination through balancing time, resources, and quality constraints to achieve business and strategic goals and requirements. Build Java based, high volume, and high transaction e-commerce applications. Create web applications using Java and Spring. Lead software migration and upgrade initiative of application on evolving technology stack. Participate in SDLC activities for software components deployed to on-premise and cloud environments. Contribute in building capability for periodic application performance and health monitoring reporting to portfolio leads and other stakeholders. Utilize Java, JavaScript, Python, REST Web Services, and Spring Boot. Utilize PostgreSQL, SQL and NoSQL. Utilize HTML, React.js, Angular and Node.js.
REQUIREMENTS
Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science and 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience in a related occupation utilizing Java, JavaScript, Python, REST Web Services, and Spring Boot; utilizing PostgreSQL, SQL and NoSQL; and utilizing HTML, React.js, Angular and Node.js. Our Sr. Specialist Software Engineering earn between $120,000 - $178,200 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
