Job Description:

Technical Instructor/Course Developer (This is a contingent position expected to be located in Keyport, WA. The pay ranges for the position will be provided at the time the position is no longer contingent.) McLaughlin Research Corp . provides industrial support services across the Undersea Weapons Department (Code 30), Test and Evaluation Department (Code 20), Undersea Systems & Sustainment Department (Code 40) and Unmanned and Theater Undersea Warfare Systems Department (Code 50), of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division, Keyport (NUWCDIVKPT). The Technical Instructor/Course Developer is primarily responsible for the following: Responsible for curriculum development and maintenance. Responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and maintaining long and short range training programs This instructor uses a computer to organize and draft a curriculum that breaks a complex subject into blocks or units of instruction, creates graphics, and integrates them into curriculum. Courses may be instructor based, computer-based, simulator based, interactive, or non-interactive. This instructor also teaches short technical courses in accordance with approved curriculum to maintain proficiency and to evaluate and develop new instructional techniques/courses.
