Job Description
Description Multistack is a leading manufacturer of modular water chiller systems, delivering energy-efficient HVAC solutions for commercial and industrial facilities worldwide. As the original innovator of modular chiller technology, we continue to set the standard with flexible, high-performance systems and environmentally responsible designs. This role will focus on building and maintaining internal and customer-facing applications that support key areas of our business. You will work closely with senior developers, product stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions with a primary focus on our backend-driven Next.js/C# application and new tooling built within a larger connected system.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using our core stack (C#/.NET, Next.js, HotChocolate GraphQL, PostgreSQL).
- Collaborate with senior engineers and stakeholders to implement new features and enhancements.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications within our connected system; writing clean, well-tested code; troubleshooting and improving existing systems; participating in code reviews; refining technical requirements and implementation approaches; and contributing to documentation and team knowledge sharing.
Qualifications Required:
- 3-5 years of professional experience as a software developer.
- Experience with C#/.NET for backend development.
- Experience with React and a solid understanding of modern JS frameworks; Next.js experience is a strong plus.
- Experience building or consuming GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or relational databases, including writing raw SQL queries.
- Familiarity with modern development practices: Git, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Ability to work independently on well-defined tasks with minimal supervision.
- Solid understanding of core mathematical principles.
Have:
Experience with Next.js App Router, Apollo Client, or TanStack Query. Familiarity with Kubernetes (K8s) and cloud-managed container workloads. Experience with Azure services (AKS, ACR, Key Vault, EntraID / MSAL
authentication). Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tooling. Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. Background or interest in the HVAC industry. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Benefits- Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
