Job Description

FPGA Developer Job Description Location:
Waukesha, WI (In person)
Duration:
6 months (and extendable)
Rate:
$50 to $55/hr
Max Job Description:
Develop VHDL code to support FPGA-based designs; be proficient in simulating and debugging design in code and on circuit board Write detailed technical design documentation and test procedures. Test and verify designs to ensure that they meet specifications and requirements. Model, build, test, and modify product prototypes using working models or theoretical models constructed with simulation Work will include development and execution of code and test procedures working in a regulated environment. The development environment is embedded in nature, understanding of both computer hardware and software required.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development and testing of digital control systems used within a Magnetic Resonance (MR) system. Leverage knowledge of digital design techniques and communication standards to ensure a quality product.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree within appropriate Engineering/Science discipline 5 years of experience on FPGA development including VHDL logic design, simulation, and testing on hardware. Circuit board and FPGA troubleshooting experience Ability to operate lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters. Must be able to work onsite at our Waukesha, WI location
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong oral and written communication skills. 10 years of experience on FPGA development Demonstrated skills in proactively identifying, facilitating and driving closure of a product/program Strong interpersonal skills Design experience with Altera's Quartus Design Software Design experience with QuestaSim
