Contract Job Responsibilities:

Lead Agile sprint execution and ensure successful delivery of committed sprint objectives. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies. Serve as the primary escalation point for delivery, quality, and execution-related issues. Manage software engineering teams, including resource planning, forecasting, onboarding, and performance coaching. Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and stakeholders to define technical solutions and delivery roadmaps. Provide effort estimation, backlog sizing, and project planning support for new initiatives. Establish and enforce software engineering best practices, coding standards, and code review processes. Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks. Ensure applications are scalable, maintainable, secure, high-performing, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, technical excellence, and team collaboration.

Must Have/Required:

8+ years of experience in software engineering and application development. Proven experience managing software engineering teams and driving successful project delivery. Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and ReactJS (or equivalent modern technology stack). Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with responsibility for sprint execution and delivery management. Strong understanding of software architecture, code quality practices, and engineering best practices. Hands-on experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies. Experience with effort estimation, project planning, resource management, and stakeholder communication. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
