As a Software Engineering Manager within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Dallas, TX or Pittsburgh, PA. Role Overview The Software Engineering Manager provides senior engineering leadership across multiple Agile crews delivering enterprise Pega solutions. The role is accountable for Pega delivery execution, platform governance, engineering standards, and building strong internal Pega capability. Core Management Responsibilities (PNC ASM Standard)
- Manage multiple development crews and complex Pega delivery initiatives across a major business segment
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for Pega engineers and technical leads
- Ensure predictable delivery through effective planning, staffing, and dependency management
- Partner with product, architecture, risk, and operations stakeholders to align Pega solutions to business goals
- Ensure compliance with PNC enterprise risk management, security, and regulatory standards
- Own Pega engineering quality, delivery metrics, and continuous improvement across teams
