Drive innovation and strategic technology initiatives that support the growth and scalability of a Consumer Product portfolio (5%). Manage cross-program initiatives, develop awareness and implementation of Tactical and Shareable APIs within the product portfolio, shepherd common service architectures, integrate AI and security capabilities, and foster collaboration across product and engineering teams (5%). Collaborate with Portfolio Leaders to define and deliver technical strategies that improve customer experience by identifying common components, customer flows, and capabilities across our Consumer TPD applications (5%). Work with leaders from other TPD Teams to identify and collaborate on initiatives such as our API, AI, and security systems (5%). Lead a team of multi-disciplinary engineers to deliver high-impact products and solutions that align with business goals and customer needs (10%). Translate business strategies into technology roadmaps, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders (5%). Lead enterprise and solutions architecture of initiatives, such as consent management, cross-product promotions, AI-enabled assistant and support, parental controls, and customer engagement tools (10%). Drive innovative ideas, consult to integrate, and support advanced AI capabilities for each of the Portfolio applications and ensure the TPD SOE supports their needs (5%). Champion API First practices across all product and platform services, ensuring clean architecture, security compliance, scalability, and performance (10%). Oversee core platform services, providing critical support to product teams across areas like API management, authentication, and customer data (5%). Implement and enforce API governance, load balancing, and security protocols to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and accessibility (5%). Act as senior leadership's point of contact, ensuring transparent communication on technology roadmaps, challenges, and opportunities (5%). Collaborate with product managers, developers, and security teams to align project deliverables and resolve cross-functional dependencies (5%). Drive mobile development/POC development to validate new features and technologies (5%). Design and implement intuitive UX flows to enhance the customer experience (3%). Contribute to the development of SDKs, ensuring seamless integration and robust security measures (2%). Create and implement proof of concepts (POCs) to validate new ideas and technologies (5%). Use and apply knowledge of various technologies, such as AWS Lambdas, AWS Step functions, SQL, PL/SQL, Java, C, C++, XML, HTML, JavaScript, Shell Script, Jenkins, Ansible, architecture design and working with AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Docker, API Principles, AWS serverless design principles, Rest-based architecture platforms, CQRS pattern, SAGA pattern, Event-driven and domain-driven design patterns (5%). What we're looking for... Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Full Stack Engineer, Backend Software Engineer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 8 years of experience programming and deploying full stack software platforms, working with cloud-based platform architecture, and using AWS Lambdas, AWS Step functions, SQL, PL/SQL, Java, C, C++, XML, HTML, JavaScript, Shell Script, Jenkins, and Ansible. Experience therein to include 5 years of experience in architecture design and working with AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Docker, API Principles, AWS serverless design principles, Rest-based architecture platforms, CQRS pattern, SAGA pattern, Event-driven and domain-driven design patterns. Travel required up to 20% domestic. Hybrid role, ability to work from home.
