The Role We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead and scale multiple software development teams working on our product portfolio. This is a people-first leadership role focused on team management, delivery, and organizational effectiveness, rather than hands-on development. You will manage established software team developing two separate products. What You Will Do People & Team Leadership Manage, coach, and develop software engineers and technical leads. Set clear expectations, goals, and priorities for teams and individuals, helping them to grow, take decisions. Support hiring, onboarding, and team growth. Foster a positive, inclusive, creative and high-performance team culture. Delivery & Execution Ensure teams deliver on commitments according to Product Roadmap with quality and predictability. Oversee planning, execution, and follow-up (Agile methodologies). Track delivery, quality, and team health metrics. Identify (and propose) risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities within Software, daily Process and Product Technical & Process Oversight Provide technical leadership at a high level, while being able to be also hands-on. Partner with architects and senior engineers on technical direction, and with Product Management on the Product decisions for the best possible customer centricity Promote best practices in engineering, quality, and documentation, and cross-functional collaboration, exchange and align with other global teams within Business Unit What We're Looking For Experience 8+ years of experience in software development, including 3+ years of people management experience. BS Computer Science or equivalent degree Front End and back-end framework (.Net core, C++, Angular, REST API) Database management Knowledge of software quality practices: automated testing, code reviews, continuous integration Proven ability to manage people or complex delivery scope. Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments. Leadership & Technical Skills Strong people management and organizational skills, experience in change management and transformation is desired Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
