Job Description

Review, analyze, and assess resources for the plant Responsible for leading automation activities for the site, including day-to-day performance and continuous improvement of automation systems Develop automation team for the site through hiring and training Work with Global Automation teams to ensure that projects and engineering duties are completed efficiently Approve Plant expenditures for automation activities Interface with customers on new projects and represent TM as management lead for automation Provide mentorship, training and coaching for other Automation Engineers, Technicians and other team members Provide necessary tools and resources to Automation engineers and technicians and proactively remove obstacles Develop program(s) to standardize specifications and procedures for automation projects Coordinate and schedule training for Automation engineers and technicians Generate project schedule reports, and confer with upper management Track expenditures according to budget Actively participate in peer reviews and designs reviews of all new automation for the site Guide procurement of purchase orders for automation projects at suppliers Travel requirement may be up to 30% per year Directly manage projects when required and as project manager working with multi-functional teams to ensure proper project overall completion Responsible for design, assembly, install, qualification, cost, and timing of in-house equipment builds Responsible for the generation of cost savings opportunities related to automation and the presentation of this information to management on a regular basis Technimark is an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider all qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or protected veteran status. #INDHP Experience Required Minimum of 10 years of direct experience as an Automation Engineer or comparable position. 10 year(s): Advanced knowledge of machining, part design, CAD, Injection Molding, manufacturing operations, and Project Management are key skills to have and demonstrate. Excellent communication and People Skills. Advanced Computer and control systems knowledge required. Overall, excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude. Minimum of 10 years of direct experience as an Automation Engineer or comparable position.
