U.S. Citizenship required Summary/Objective Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered team. Works closely with SCRUM teams, developers, and program management to validate functional requirements while also contributing to the advancement of our automation testing capabilities. Analyze and validate user stories, technical specifications, and functional requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Follows and applies common T&E processes that include identify requirements, verify user needs, develop evaluation approach, collect data, analyze data, and report on findings. Design, write, and execute detailed test cases, and test scenarios for functional, integration, and regression testing phases. Responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements; conducts audits and reviews/analyzes data and documentation. Identify, document, and track software defects, at times collaborating with development teams to recreate or perform root-cause analysis. Work closely with teammates, SCRUM teams, software developers, and program management to ensure alignment on quality goals and project deliverables. Design, execute, and maintain functional test cases to validate that application features meet established requirements and acceptance criteria. Assist in the development, maintenance, and execution of automated testing scripts to increase test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts. Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to provide testing status and quality metrics. Required Education and Experience One of the following combinations of education and experience: Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of experience Associate's degree with at least 6 years of experience High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of at least 60 semester hours of formal education working towards a Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of experience High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of experience One year of experience can be substituted by 15 semester hours completed towards an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
One of the following certifications:
SCRUM Leading SAFe T&E, automation AI in T&E Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal Ability to prioritize and execute tasks within restricted timeframes Detail-oriented, able to work independently, self-motivated, and a proactive team player Understanding of Agile/SCRUM principles and experience working within sprint-based development cycles U.S. Citizenship Required Ability to obtain and maintain an interim DoD Secret Clearance prior to start date
