WebCam or In-Person Job Summary We are seeking an experienced QA Tester / Software Quality Assurance Analyst to support a project for the State of Georgia Department of Labor (GA DOL). The ideal candidate will have strong experience in software quality assurance, test case design, Jira, Xray, Kofax Capture, API/interface testing, and Agile environments . This role is primarily focused on reviewing design and technical documents, analyzing requirements, and developing comprehensive test cases and test documentation . The successful candidate should be highly detail-oriented and able to translate business and technical requirements into clear, reusable test scenarios. Key Responsibilities Design, write, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on business requirements and system specifications. Review design and technical documentation to understand application functionality and testing requirements. Develop detailed test cases for interface testing, API integrations, web services, system-to-system integrations, and data exchanges . Design specialized test scenarios for Kofax Capture and document automation solutions . Validate data extraction, transformation, validation, and workflow routing within Kofax solutions. Analyze requirements and identify potential edge cases, integration issues, and testing gaps . Collaborate with product managers, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders. Organize and maintain testing documentation using Jira and Xray . Maintain requirements traceability and test coverage across project deliverables. Review API payloads, technical specifications, and component interactions to develop precise and effective test cases. Perform exploratory or targeted testing when required. Focus primarily on test strategy, test design, documentation, and traceability . Required Qualifications 4+ years of Software Quality Assurance (SQA) experience in an Agile environment. 4+ years of hands-on Jira experience for defect tracking, test management, and requirements alignment. 4+ years of test design experience with Kofax Capture and document automation solutions. 4+ years of experience with Xray for test case management, test execution mapping, and requirements traceability. Strong experience writing detailed and reusable test cases and test scenarios . Experience with API Testing, Interface Testing, and Integration Testing . Experience testing web applications built using Angular . Understanding of Java backend and microservices architectures . Ability to understand technical/design documents and convert requirements into comprehensive test cases. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies . Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
