Job Description
Akkodis is seeking a Quality Engineer I for a Contract with a client in Scarborough, ME. The ideal candidate with experience ensuring compliance with software development processes, regulatory requirements, and quality standards across cross-functional teams.

(3rd shift) 10pm-6:30amRate Range:
$40/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Quality Engineer I Job Responsibilities include: Collaborate with Manufacturing, Information Management, R&D, Quality Assurance, Operations, and Product Performance teams to ensure compliance with software development procedures and regulatory requirements. Review and approve Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) deliverables to verify adherence to quality standards and established processes. Lead and facilitate hazard analysis activities to identify, assess, and mitigate potential product and software risks. Assist in the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions for software development and quality processes. Support software validation activities by developing, executing, and documenting test protocols, test results, and compliance reports. Provide training and guidance on software development, quality, and regulatory compliance practices to cross-functional teams.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field. 0-3 years of experience in Software Quality, Software Compliance, Software Validation, or a regulated product development environment. Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), software quality processes, hazard/risk analysis, and regulatory compliance requirements. Experience reviewing software documentation, supporting test protocol execution, developing SOPs/work instructions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a quality-focused environment.
