Job Description
We are seeking a BSW Engineer - Test Strategy & Automation to lead the development and execution of the test automation strategy for AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) components. This role involves designing and implementing automated test cases for modules such as COM, FBL, MCAL, Cyber security, OS, SOC, Switch, Diagnostics and I/O Hardware Abstraction, ensuring the robustness and reliability of BSW releases
Perform debugging and analysis of BSW software using tools such as JTAG debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and trace tools.
Develop and maintain test automation scripts, with emphasis on handling configuration files like CANoe configurations and JSON scripts.
Champion software quality through comprehensive testing, issue analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated sanity tests and maintaining continuous integration workflows.
Contribute to CI/CD workflows by implementing automated sanity tests and maintaining continuous integration pipelines.
Maintain and update test cases; track and report failures to relevant BSW teams for resolution.
Participate actively in Agile development processes, including code reviews and sprint planning.
Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded software development for automotive or real-time systems.
Experience with C programming and familiarity with MCU architectures such as AURIXExperience with compilers, emulators, debuggers, and other development tools.
Experience developing test scripts and automation tools using Python, CAPL and Jason.
Experience with CAN stack, Ethernet Stack, SPI, LIN and Flash Bootloader integration, IOHWAB, MCAL.
Experience in one or more areas: Adaptive AUTOSAR Platform (ara::com, SOME/IP, manifests), automotive cybersecurity features (secure boot, key/certificate management), bootloader development/integration on multicore SoC/MPUbased ECUs, and foundational knowledge of embedded OS / hypervisor environmentsDirect experience in real-time embedded systems including real-time OS products such as QNX.Experience developing embedded C and C++ standards
Experience with
Familiarity with Vector DaVinci, EB tresos, or similar configuration tools.
Exposure to power modes, startup sequences, and fault detection mechanisms.
Understanding of vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and diagnostic stacks (UDS, DoIP).Expertise in

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded software development for automotive or real-time systems.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science discipline.Experience with
