QA Automation Tester - Hybrid#26-08481 Jersey City, NJ Charlotte, NC Onsite Contract Starts 10/05/2026 Ends 10/04/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a QA Automation Tester for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role focuses on quality assurance for both database and UIponents within an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will develop, structure, and automateprehensive test cases using tools like Selenium/TOSCA, SQL, and Unix scripting to ensure software quality and reliability. This position requires a proactive individual who can take ownership of end-to-end testing processes, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.

Responsibilities:

Develop detailed,prehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional requirements Contribute to test planning and build test cases for stories in a given s as per story acceptance criteria Automate test cases in User-Interface (UI) and database using tools like Selenium/Tosca Build and use test data required to aplish the execution of test cases Execute manual and automated test cases and record test results Test new and existing features, debug code (units and integration), and report errors and failures Work collaboratively with the development team for defect triaging Execute all levels of testing (Functional, Integration, and Regression) Design, develop, and execute automation scripts Take ownership of end-to-end testing Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies, providing timely solutions quality principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle with appropriate support and documentation

Requirements:

5 years of experience in Software Testing Experience with Automation testing using tools like Selenium/TOSCA for UI and database Expertise in testing User-Interface (UI) and Database changes Experience with Autosys job scheduling Able to write and execute Unixmands Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester using SQL, Database, and ETL technologies Strong experience in writingplex SQL queries using Joins Experience with Unix Ability to document and troubleshoot errors Working knowledge of test management software (e.g., qTest, Octane) Familiar with the life cycle of projects (SIT, UAT) Hands-on Agile experience Excellent verbal and written skills, including advanced interpersonal and presentation skills Ability to managepeting priorities on an ongoing basis Desired skills: Knowledge of Playwright Strong problem identification and solving skills Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Prior experience working with globally distributed teams Experience in the Banking domain Pay range: $50.42 - $58.42 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
