Micrologic Associates is a leading technology solutions provider for the car wash and related industries. We build the systems our customers run their businesses on, empowering them to grow more profitable washes through smarter products, dependable service, and a team that has their back. Our product suite includes all the software needed to run and grow a wash, along with the related hardware and support services that keep it all running. Micrologic is seeking a qualified Quality Assurance Tester to add to our team of dedicated, trusted, experienced, and professional personnel. The Quality Assurance Tester will be an integral part of the Development & Quality Assurance teams.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as a subject-matter expert for assigned products Assess software quality through manual testing Find and report bugs and glitches, including testing new products and features Execute test cases and analyze results Create logs to document testing phases and defects Report bugs and errors to the Development team Troubleshoot issues and think creatively to find solutions Work closely with the Development team Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing Review requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria to find gaps or ambiguities before development starts Use test management tools (Tuskr preferred) to create, organize, run and track test cases, test runs and results Perform functional, integration, UI and cross-browser testing

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent (required; Bachelor's degree preferred) 1+ years of Quality Assurance testing experience SQL experience (1 year preferred) Attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Passion for quality Analytical mind and problem-solving attitude Strong organizational skills Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams Ability to document and troubleshoot errors Nice-to-have Experience with POS, payment or hardware-integrated systems Familiarity with Jira and Agile methodologies
