Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester with strong expertise in Selenium automation testing, SQL validation, and quality assurance methodologies. The ideal candidate will have experience testing large-scale web-based applications, developing automation frameworks, and working within Agile environments to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for web-based applications Develop and maintain Selenium automation frameworks and reusable test scripts Validate application functionality and data integrity using SQL queries Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and testing needs Prepare and maintain Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scenarios, and Test Strategy documents Execute test cases and document test results, defects, and resolutions Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives Utilize Team Foundation Server (TFS) for work item management, test case management, and reporting Perform root cause analysis and support defect resolution activities Ensure software quality standards are met throughout the development lifecycle
Required Skills:
Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing or related field Strong experience testing large, complex web-based applications in a structured QA environment Extensive hands-on experience with Selenium test automation Strong Selenium script development experience Experience working in Agile development environments Strong experience writing and executing complex SQL queries for data validation and testing Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) for Work Item Management, Test Cases, and Reporting • Experience preparing Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Strategy documentation • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience with automation framework design and maintenance Experience with test reporting and defect management tools Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA best practices Experience working on enterprise-level applications
