RESPONSIBILITES & DUTIES
Prepare formalized reports from audit results and present findings to leadership. Perform detailed audits on a regular basis as defined by compliance requirements. Working directly with Clinical trainer on educational documentation and training for clinicians to support compliance with guidelines from AMA and CMS and health plan standards. Respond independently to questions from physicians, executive leaders, and other market staff regarding documentation. Perform follow-up reviews after initial training and determine if additional education is necessary. Communicate regularly with leadership to ensure all necessary information is received on a timely basis. Work cohesively with the Director of Clinical Education and clinical staff. Monitor the organizations compliance with HIPAA and infection control. Conduct regular chart audits, ensure documentation supports eligibility, medical necessity and accurate coding. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licensed Registered Nurse QA or PI experience required. Must be able to multitask. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office required. Experience with Hospice Compliance with Medicare conditions of participation (COPs) CHAP Accreditation standards This is a fulltime position, with benefits, vacation time, etc.
