What to Expect Tesla is seeking a highly motivated Test Engineer for our Gigafactory in Buffalo, New York to contribute to the reliability, availability, and maintainability of automation equipment and assembly lines. The Test Engineer will work to improve uptime, cycle time, and yield alongside Equipment Engineering peers. The candidate will perform pre-emptive data analysis to understand challenges, and devise solutions that align with equipment and production goals. The candidate will provide ongoing troubleshooting support for the equipment until it meets production targets. Throughout this process, the candidate will also manage project documentation such as scope, schedule, and budget, and is expected to contribute lessons learned to Tesla's global standards.
