We are seeking a Software QA Engineer for our client to join their development team and help ensure the quality and performance of our web-based engineering software solutions. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both traditional software testing and finding smarter, more efficient ways to improve the QA process. We're particularly interested in a take-charge, technically curious QA professional who can help expand test automation and introduce innovative approaches to software quality. What You'll Do Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing procedures. Create, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts. Identify opportunities to improve QA efficiency through automation and process improvements. Work closely with the development team throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, and release. Manage and support QA activities throughout the software release cycle. Identify, document, troubleshoot, and communicate software defects and quality concerns. Provide technical support and assistance to customers. Write technical content, including articles and blog posts. Review and contribute to product documentation and training materials. Support product enhancements and other non-coding product initiatives. Collaborate across teams to continually improve overall product quality and the customer experience. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who combines strong QA fundamentals with initiative and problem-solving skills. You should be comfortable working independently while also collaborating closely with software developers and other team members. Experience with the following would be valuable: Software quality assurance and testing Web-based application testing Automated software testing and test-script development Familiarity with SOC2 Compliance Test planning and test-case development Software development lifecycle methodologies Defect identification, documentation, and troubleshooting Software release and regression testing Technical documentation Customer-facing technical support Why Join Us?
