Summary:
Responsible for acting as an individual contributor to the HR System & Technology team in the HR Technology and Service Solutions department. This individual serves as a technical point of contact within our HR Workday implementation in the areas of Core HR and Organizational Management. Understand the HR Workday support model and also the configuration and design of the HR system. Sr. Specialist assists subject matter experts with defining data integrity processes and audits, testing system functionality, researching and resolving problems related to unexpected results or process flaws. Recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet business requirements during the implementation and post implementation. Provides support to the department in the area of quality assurance testing, functional system maintenance, system enhancements and administrative support as needed.
Core Responsibilities:
Work with HR Business Partners to help define HR processes and how they will work within the framework of a HR Cloud SystemContributes to technical projects related to platform extendibility, data integrity and other HR-related systems.
Serve as a tier 3 escalation for system support cases.
Execute process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and /or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementationTranslate functional requirements into technical documentation to support specific implementation scenarios, reports or queries utilizing appropriate toolSupport, document and maintain Workday configuration of third party vendors for our HR Platform functional footprint.
Assist and collaborate with technical teams in the review, testing and implementation of system upgrades or patches.
Has awareness of process design and redesign skills. Presents and defends functional and technical solutions.
Has awareness of knowledge of, and ability to apply, project management skills.
Document integration processes as well as results across other team in HR Systems and TechnologyHas awareness of new enhancement packages, competitive applications and products and make recommendation features.
Works with Quality Assurance team to determine all necessary testing is accounted and documented.
Able to provide feedback regarding best possible user experience for application users.
Workday HR Specialist (Functional, Requirements, Integration, Testing) Well versed in Microsoft Office applications with focus on Excel and PowerPoint for presentation developmentExperience with HP Octane for ticket management and test case execution and tracking is preferred but not required Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
