• About the role:
• The Sr.

Group Risk Analyst, Quality Control Testing Group provides a broad range of research, analysis, reporting, monitoring and/or operational process support within a defined area of function. Supports business by providing expert guidance/advice on a range of risk related matters within assigned or own area of specialization. The Sr. Group Risk Analyst may support and/or provide oversight, commentary, and strategy analysis in connection to team and/or individual initiatives.

• Depth & Scope:

• Utilizes expertise to exercise sound and expert independent professional judgement and discretion in interacting and communicating with staff and Sr. management of the Bank with respect to regulatory risk and other matters
• This consultant will be given requirements and must have the expertise to perform and design effectiveness testing around compliance standards. In order to be successful, this person must have expertise in control testing and knowledge of regulations (SOX, GLBA, etc.) that impact business units and owners.
• Must be skilled in scoping control populations, selecting appropriate testing techniques, and clearly documenting testing procedures and rationale in alignment with organizational standards.
• Expertise in developing detailed test plans outlining objectives, scope, and scenarios in preparation for effective testing will be vital.
• This person must have the ability to execute test steps with accuracy, identify control gaps, and tie evidence directly to control objective; not just complete tasks, but able to truly validate risk mitigation. The ability to pay close attention to detail is key here.

• in rendering advice and counsel to business lines or assigned area and risk which impact performance of the business and overall enterprise strategies and objectives
• Integrates the broader organizational context into advice and solutions within own functional area
• Understands the industry, competition and the factors that differentiate the organization
• Acts as the primary subject matter expert and expected to make sound decisions in setting standards within area of expertise
• Applies expert knowledge and best practices to implement process, product or service improvements
• Oversees and/or independently performs tasks from end to end
• Acts as a subject matter expert within own area of specialty or as a resource for others
• Leads projects of moderately to complex risk and resource requirements; may lead end-to-end processes or functional programs
• Required Skills & Qualifications
• Banking/ Financial Industry experience
• preferred: Previous Audit, Compliance skills helpful
• 5 years experience minimum
• need to be: well versed in understanding controls, able to perform walk throughs of controls (show us who/what/who), can document if control is good VS or not
• Compliance control testing/ ITGC expertise

• RCSA exp a plus
• Deep industry and business knowledge and expertise on risk and control functions
• Expert knowledge of governance, risk and control procedures, strategies & tactics
• Experience performing Controls testing, validate controls and make a judgement on efficiencies, risk and controls mapping

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $50.00
• $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
