Job Description
Operations - Analyst, Software QA/Test Sr Ampcus, Inc - United States, Virginia, Reston Sep 14, 2026 Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team. Position Overview This is a hybrid position located in Reston, VA 20191. Candidates must be local and willing to participate in in-person interviews and work on-site as needed by the project team. The duration of the role is 6 months. Purpose The role involves developing, modifying, and executing software test plans and automated scripts to ensure software and technical products meet quality standards. Responsibilities include identifying software problems and their root causes, testing system modifications, documenting defects, and supporting the overall quality of software systems. The role also involves mentoring junior staff and developing a strong understanding of the business processes being tested. Essential Functions Analyze moderately complex requirements, operational problems, specifications, and change requests. Produce test plans and test cases, monitor test cases, and perform test execution.
Analyze test results to ensure functionality meets requirements, recommend corrective actions, and document test results. Consult with development engineers on problem resolution.
Guide and mentor a team of testers, supporting projects and day-to-day testing efforts, including working with associates, contractors, and third-party resources.
