- Design, maintain, and execute automated tests for use in both API and UI test cases by creating reusable code libraries to help build streamlined and efficient automated test processes
- Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software
- Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action
- Submit and track any product issues found during testing to ensure that they are resolved
- Facilitate and/or participate in test plan and test case reviews and execution
- Work closely with the Development, Business Analysts and support teams to understand the application's features and architecture to develop test cases to ensure that the application's
UI / API
/ Data layers are thoroughly tested before releasing into production- Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure timely feedback Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 2 to 4 year's experience in software Quality Assurance and Automation
- Automation Certification preferred such as Certified Tester Test Automation Engineer (CT-TAE)
- SmartBear TestComplete, ReadyAPI, and MABL experience preferred Skills
- Test automation background in UI driven frameworks via SmartBear TestComplete
- Test automation background in APIs via SmartBear ReadyAPI
- Proficiency in a mainstream programming language: must have applicable skills in Java, Python, C++, C# or other language
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
- Initiative to learn and utilize emerging technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Should have proven track record of communicating complex multi-faceted issues to multiple stakeholders
- Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize various responsibilities, multi-task, manage sub-projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, demanding and changing environment with a high level of independence
- Must have technical experience screening, triaging and categorizing defects
- Knowledge of web accessibility best practices and optimization
- Strong understanding of QA principles, inspection techniques, and testing procedures Job
