QA Automation Tester#26-05511 Charlotte, NC Jersey City, NJ 40% Remote Contract Starts 7/06/2026 Ends 7/05/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a QA Automation Tester for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC and Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This position focuses on developingprehensive test cases and automating them for both User-Interface (UI) and databaseponents. The ideal candidate will work within an Agile Scrum team, leveraging tools like Selenium/Tosca and strong SQL skills to ensure software quality in a banking domain. This role involves end-to-end testing, defect tracking, and collaboration with development teams.

Responsibilities:

Develop detailed,prehensive and well-structured test cases based on functional requirements Contribute to test planning and build test cases for stories in the given s as per story acceptance criteria Automate test cases in User-Interface (UI) and database using tools like Selenium/Tosca Build and use test data required to aplish execution of test cases Execute test cases, including manual and automated tests, and record test results Test new and existing features, debug code (units and integration) and report errors and failures Work collaboratively with the development team for defect triaging Execute all levels of testing (Functional, Integration, and Regression) Design, develop, and execute automation scripts Take ownership in end-to-end testing Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies, and provide timely solutions quality principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle with the appropriate support and documentation

Requirements:

Technical BA/BS (Engineering, Computer Science, Math) and a minimum of 6 years of experience 5+ years of experience in Software Testing Experience in Automation testing using tools like Selenium/TOSCA for UI and database Expertise in testing User-Interface (UI) and Database changes Experience with Autosys scheduling of jobs Able to write and execute Unixmands Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester using SQL, Database, and ETL technologies Strong experience in writingplex SQL queries using Joins Working knowledge of test management software (e.g., qTest, Octane) Familiar with the life cycle of projects (SIT, UAT) Hands-on Agile experience Experience in the Banking domain Desired skills: Ability to document and troubleshoot errors Excellent verbal and written skills, to include advanced interpersonal and proven presentation skills Ability to managepeting priorities on an ongoing basis Ability to be self-directed toplete assigned activities Experience working with large, globally distributed teams Strong problem identification and solving skills Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Pay range: $50.42 - $58.42 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
