Supervisor of Architecture, DevOps, Engineering Position Summary We are seeking a motivated Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer Associate to join our team and contribute to the testing of the enterprise applications. In this role, you will test both front-end and back-end components with different testing tools, while collaborating with senior engineers and cross-functional teams. You will gain hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, and modern DevOps practices, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions. Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities Assist in developing the test plan and test scripts for the portals and other applications. Perform QA by execution of manual and automated test scripts. Design and implement innovative automation solutions to streamline internal processes and optimize business workflows. Participate in sprint planning, issue tracking, and progress reporting using Jira. Work with Visual Studio Code, SQL Server Management Studio, and other modern development and testing tools. Leverage AI-powered tools and analytics to improve test coverage, identify quality trends, and enhance defect detection and resolution processes. Develop and maintain unit-based testing scripts. Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy standards. Handles low to moderate difficulty development tasks, resolving issues through established processes and standard engineering practices rather than complex or novel solutions. Collaborate with development team, product owners, UI/UX designers, implementation partners, and offshore teams to deliver features on time. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or soon to graduate with 1-3 years of relevant experience through internships, co-ops, or academic projects in Application testing using Playwright, Postman, Selenium, Apache JMeter, etc., and exposure to full-stack development using Angular, Node.js, JavaScript, C#, and Python. Basic understanding of Azure services, containerization (AKS), and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with SQL Server, RESTful APIs, and secure coding principles. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies. Working Environment This position currently functions as a hybrid role working from both home and in-office environments. Any home office setting must be conducive to all guidelines outlined by the organization. This role operates in a general office environment and may require prolonged periods of sitting and regular use of a computer and standard office equipment. This position also requires attendance at in-person meetings, with frequency determined by management based on departmental or organizational needs.
