Senior Manual QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on detailed business requirements and technical specifications. Execute manual testing for diverse applications, including Android and iOS mobile apps, web interfaces, and APIs. Perform functional, system, regression, user acceptance, performance, and load testing to validate software quality across platforms. Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues affecting application performance or stability. Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure smooth release management and deployment processes. Utilize tools such as Jira, TFS, GitLab, and Jenkins for tracking defects and managing test workflows. Participate in requirements gathering sessions and contribute to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) activities within Agile methodology. Perform mobile testing on Android and iOS devices to verify app functionality across different operating systems and network conditions. Analyze data using SQL to validate database integrity and backend processes during testing phases. Proven experience as a Manual QA Engineer with a focus on mobile applications (Android/iOS) and web-based systems. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies (functional, system, regression), and quality assurance best practices. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, JSON/XML data formats; experience testing APIs is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting issues using debugging tools; ability to perform root cause analysis efficiently. Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly document test cases, defect reports, and test results; adept at collaborating across teams to achieve quality goals.
