Position Title:

Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Location:

Remote

Duration:

12 months with possible extension Job summary: Seeking a highly engaged and motivated SDET to join a high-performing and fast-paced application development team. The candidate must have a proven record of working in a complex, matrixed, and fast-paced application development team, should be flexible and an engaging team player.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of software testing experience. Experience developing automated test cases using Tricentis TOSCA. Experience developing automated test cases using Playwright with Typescript.

Responsibilities:

Thorough knowledge of automated testing design, Data driven test development techniques, Object recognition, and Test validation. Ability to automate functional, regression, integration and end-to-end test scenarios across web and API layers. Ability to transform business test cases into automated test coverage and to analyze technical and non-technical requirements and translate them into both manual and automatable scenarios. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to define automation test strategies and test plans. Knowledge of Automation tools to ensure the stability of software releases. Ability to detect and report software defects, and work with developers to resolve issues. Desire to apply strong testing best practices to develop test design and test approach. Strong communication skills to assist other team members with test design, test approach, testing, story requirement clarification and providing feedback to the development team. A passion for learning new processes and techniques.
