StarsHR has the following long-term contract role available with our client in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Software QA Tester Responsibilities:

• Verifies that software and applications are coded according to specifications by employing technical testing and code inspection techniques conforming to industry best practices.
• Creates and executes test cases with test data and documents results for all testing phases (functional, integration, regression, and system testing)
• Records discrepancies between code and specifications via detailed bug reports
• Conducts test case reviews with Software Engineering teams Qualifications A minimum 3 to 4 years of software or systems testing experience in a commercial environment.

Has prior experience working with test automation tools. Has demonstrated exposure to using AI to assist and/or automate the testing process. Demonstrates effective problem solving skills A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related subject is highly desirable Previous experience in the Banking/Fintech industry strongly preferred Candidates must be willing to work a hybrid schedule with 3 days per week being onsite at our client's offices in suburban Dallas.
