• About This Role
• As a Software/Systems Quality Engineer at Textron Systems' Weapon Systems division, you will perform a variety of quality engineering assignments including: + Monitor the development process and work products on projects through the entire life cycle + Work with and mentor engineers to ensure compliance to Textron's development process + Review and approve engineering work products + Witness/monitor testing to ensure the product meets standards of quality and reliability + Review, monitor, and approve release activities + Provide QA oversight for assigned suppliers + Perform audits of engineering work products •Qualifications•

Qualifications:

• + B.

S. and/or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field with 2 year's experience (Level II) + B.S. and/or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field with 5 year's experience (Level III) + Practical experience in software/systems engineering in all phases of project life cycle + Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills + Creative problem solver + Able to obtain/maintain a government secret security clearance + Excellent multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills + Understanding of Software/Systems Quality Assurance concepts and principles + Understanding of Software Configuration Management and release concepts + Basic personal computer skills (e.g. word processing, spreadsheet, presentation)

Textron's compensation package includes competitive base pay and provides eligible employees with benefit programs. The pay range should be used as a general guide only. Compensation is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
