Charlotte, NC 6 months

Strong past experience with Swift, FedWires, ISO20022 messaging & payment processing
SME/ Technical BA.
Develop use cases, functional specifications, and user stories for payment system enhancements.
Partner with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and Operations to deliver effective payment solutions.
Map legacy payment formats to

message structures for Fedwire Funds Service and international payments.

Identify and implement automation and process improvements in Wire Payments workflows.
Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory and network standards, including Fedwire guidelines and the FinCEN Travel Rule.
Support fraud prevention, risk management, and AML compliance within payment operations.
Define and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) for payment system upgrades.
Work closely with QA teams to validate payment message formats such as pacs.008, pacs.004, and camt messages.
Monitor, track, and resolve defects and issues related to payment processing.
Proficient in SWIFT MT and MX message formats.
Experience with payment system integrations, APIs, and core banking platforms.
Scrum master
in a hybrid role....
STRONG Comm skills
Ability/Awareness to use GenAI tools to enhance productivity is expected. (NOT looking for GenAI engr/LLM expertise etc!)
Having theoretical blockchain familiarity a huge PLUS.
ACH expertise(NACHA rules) and FedNow/RTP payments expertise isn't necessarily expected as part of current priorities. Technical BA
