Job Description

Role snapshot Hands-on, multi-craft maintenance in an industrial, food-production environment Keep conveyors and automation equipment running with minimal downtime Partner closely with a newer production team; perform PMs during live operations to meet quotas Core responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical systems: gearboxes, motors, belt drives Troubleshoot industrial equipment; advanced troubleshooting experience is a major advantage Work confidently around PLCs (Allen‑Bradley), VFDs, and Fanuc robots Support conveyors and automation systems inside and outside the facility Perform approximately 25% of duties outdoors and at heights due to external conveyors and hoppers Execute preventive maintenance during runtime to sustain long production runs Environment & conditions Industrial barn-like workspace: well ventilated and generally clean Expect dust from dry food production; floors are free of oil and standing liquids FDA-regulated operation requiring adherence to cleanliness standards Some tasks occur outdoors at elevation on conveyors, motors, and hoppers feeding the mill
