Job Description

Senior Test Engineer responsible for developing automated hardware test solutions, validating semiconductor components, and troubleshooting electrical and functional failures. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering 7+ years of hardware, electrical, semiconductor, or automated test experience Ability to qualify for a United States security clearance Experience developing automated test and diagnostic workflows Proficiency with LabVIEW Proficiency with TestStand Proficiency with Python Hands-on experience with boundary scan technologies Experience using laboratory instrumentation, including oscilloscopes and power supplies Experience with modular instrumentation platforms Experience with automated test equipment (ATE) frameworks Experience interpreting semiconductor component documentation and technical specifications Experience troubleshooting electrical hardware and interconnect failures Preferred Skills Experience designing modular bench evaluation systems Experience with specialized chassis and modular instrumentation hardware Experience developing functional evaluation programs for semiconductor components Experience with hardware validation and failure analysis Experience performing root cause analysis at the component, hardware, and interconnect levels Experience supporting design verification or product quality improvement initiatives Job Responsibilities Develop and validate comprehensive semiconductor and hardware testing procedures Translate semiconductor part documentation and specifications into functional evaluation programs Design and assemble modular bench evaluation systems using chassis, instrumentation, and supporting hardware Develop automated diagnostic and functional test workflows Program test applications using LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, and related automation tools Perform electrical and functional evaluations across hardware modules Configure and operate oscilloscopes, power supplies, boundary scan equipment, and modular instrumentation Investigate test and evaluation failures Perform root cause analysis on hardware, component, and interconnect issues Support resolution of component failures identified during testing Provide test findings and failure data to engineering teams Support improvements to hardware design quality and test coverage Maintain test procedures, automation scripts, and evaluation documentation
