Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Partner II supports the quality management system by coordinating quality documentation, preparing reports, and ensuring adherence to standards such as
AS9100, ISO
9001, and other applicable regulations. The role is administrative in nature but requires technical knowledge of aerospace/defense quality systems and the ability to work closely with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance & Standards :
Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards, certifications, and industry regulations
Documentation & Reporting :
Manage distribution/retrieval of quality-related documents; prepare quality metrics and reports for internal and management use
Audits :
Assist in internal and external audits, coordinate schedules, address findings, and initiate corrective actions
Data Analysis :
Analyze quality data and performance metrics to support decision-making
Change Management :
Ensure changes to processes, products, or systems undergo proper quality review and approval
Systems Support :
Maintain inspection plans in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and support calibration of measuring instruments
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years in aerospace quality administration or related roles.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with aerospace quality standards (AS9100, ISO 9001) and best practices.
Skills:
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented; ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Proficiency:
Data analysis and reporting tools; Microsoft Office; ERP systems Must be a US Person.
