About the
Position:
We are transforming our digital ecosystem to support our growing portfolio of digital products and services. We are looking for a hands-on, highly proficient Software Quality Assurance Tester 4 to drive our Agile automated testing efforts and ensure seamless product release deployments for our end users.
Position Summary
In this technical development role, you will work hand-in-hand with software product developers, analysts, and cross-functional teams to own and grow the software product QA function. You will integrate, configure, and run QA automation software, write and update test automation scripts, build robust test frameworks, validate software releases, and champion industry best practices to deliver a bug-free user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Test Automation & Frameworks:
Design, build, and maintain advanced test automation frameworks and scripts across web, mobile, and enterprise platforms.
Collaboration & Code Review:
Partner independently with product developers and managers to evaluate software programs, conduct code/bug reviews, and verify alignment with user requirements.
Test Execution & Management:
Execute Functional, Integration, System Integration, Regression, Acceptance (UAT), and End-to-End testing.
Web Services & API Testing:
Test web services, XML, and WSDL using SOAPUI; modify endpoints across different servers and web service versions.
Performance & Environment Management:
Configure and manage Apache Tomcat and IBM WebSphere for hosting Java web applications; conduct usability, load, and integration performance testing.
Configuration Management:
Oversee software configuration management, including version control, change control, and configuration building.
Security & Standards Compliance:
Apply knowledge of Web 2.0/3.0, web browsers, SSL, encryption methodologies, secure implementations, and specialized standard testing (such as CLAIMS and HIPAA).
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited university OR equivalent relevant technical programming experience.
Advanced, hands-on professional experience in software quality assurance testing automation within software product teams.
Advanced experience with at least one major test automation platform/framework: Selenium, Appium, or Playwright.
Proficiency in software configuration management and version control.
Extensive hands-on experience using Selenium WebDriver paired with preferred languages including Java, JavaScript, C#, VB, Python, Ruby, or Perl.
Advanced coding knowledge in at least one implementation language (e.g., C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Angular, Python, or equivalent).
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced professional experience working within enterprise IT solutions and technology software product teams.
Expert-level proficiency with tools such as SauceLabs, Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, Eclipse IDE, IntelliJ, SourceTree, Automation Anywhere, MuleSoft, and TestNG.
Experience with load testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
Experience testing enterprise applications: ERP SAP, Java or .NET web portals/websites, IBM Content Services Suite, Adobe AEM, or WordPress CMS.
Working experience with development methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or RUP.
Strong critical thinking, independent problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to navigate customer escalations and project assignments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including advanced technical writing capabilities and professional customer service orientation.
