Hybrid Job Description

Hybrid Onsite at Reston, VA - Once per week Required Skills (Must Have)- This was discussed during our vendor call:

• Min of 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
  
• Strong programming skills in Java.
  
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript.
  
• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver, Karate Framework, and Playwright.
  
• Playwright with TypeScript automation framework development.
  
• BDD/TDD framework experience.
  
• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
  
• Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  
• Strong SQL and Database Testing skills with the ability to write complex queries for data validation and backend testing.
  
• Experience with API testing using RESTful services.
  
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  
• Experience with Git and version control systems. Key Responsibilities
  
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and test suites.
  
• Create and execute UI, API, regression, integration, and end-to-end automated tests.
  
• Develop automation scripts using Java, TypeScript, Selenium, Karate, and Playwright.
  
• Perform database validation and backend testing using complex SQL queries.
  
• Validate cloud-hosted applications, services, and microservices.
  
• Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
  
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and quality improvement initiatives.
  
• Ensure adherence to QA standards, best practices, and automation strategies. Preferred Qualifications
  
• Experience testing microservices-based architectures.
  
• Knowledge of performance and security testing.
  
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases.
  
• Experience working in enterprise-scale Agile environments. Nice-to-Have Skills
  
• Test reporting and monitoring tools.
  
• Cloud-native testing and DevOps practices.
