Job Description

Basic Qualifications:
Looking for a DO-178 Verification Engineer responsible for performing software verification and validation activities in compliance with
DO-178 B/C
guidelines for safety-critical aerospace systems. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test procedures for embedded avionics software. Perform functional, integration, and system-level testing. Perform requirements-based testing (unit, integration, and system-level) Conduct structural coverage analysis (MC/DC) as required by
DO-178B/C
standards. Validate software against requirements and design specifications. Document test results and prepare compliance reports. Collaborate with development and system engineering teams to resolve defects and ensure quality. Required Skills Experience with aerospace standards (DO-178B/C). Strong understanding of software lifecycle processes. Proficiency in requirement tools such as DOORS, and any scripting languages (Python, Perl etc). proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems. Experience with configuration management tools and requirements tools. Preferred Skills Exposure to model-based development using MATLAB/Simulink.
Knowledge of communication protocols:
ARINC 429, ARINC 661, CAN.
Experience with RTOS environments (e.g.,
