Job Description

Job Description This enterprise Fintech life insurance company is seeking a senior level SDET to support automation initiatives and create immediate impact. The position is intended for highly skilled, experienced Test Automation Engineers with advanced knowledge of automated testing frameworks, tools, and practices. The team is focused on quality initiatives across the Enterprise vertical of the company. This role requires a full-stack SDET, who is skilled in architecting and building automation frameworks from scratch. The primary focus is on developing, enhancing, and maintaining automated test suites and scalable automation environments. This individual will need to thrive in an environment with minimal supervision as an individual contributor. They will also partner with business and technical subject matter experts to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will need to have a builder's mindset and bring ideas to the team to advise other Test Engineers and Software Engineers in automation practices and tooling. Responsibilities
  •  Design, develop, and maintain automated test strategies, scripts, testcase suites and frameworks for functional, regression, API, UI, and integration testing.
  •  Design, build, and document reliable test and debug tools for yourself and other developers.
  •  Identify automation process improvements and enforce automation quality standards with a goal towards an overall high percentage of automation.
  •  Take part in Agile events to refine, estimate and deliver application features.
  •  Execute automated test suites and record results.
  •  May own framework components, CI/CD test stages, and/or test strategy for a service or domain.
  •  Document, track, and help resolve defects discovered during automated execution. Collaborate with developers to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
  •  Work effectively with developers, technical SMEs, QA peers and business partners to ensure automation deliverables are met.

  •  5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation
  •  Experience building a test automation framework and creating test cases
  •  A successful track record of working within a team to launch enterprise products
  •  Comfortable with multiple automation testing categories including unit, API, end-to-end, regression, smoke and performance
  •  Skilled in a major test automation tool such as Pytest, Selenium, Cypress or Playwright
  •  Experience with Object oriented programming language like C# / Java (Preferably C#)
  •  Experience in testing AWS applications like testing Lambdas
  •  Experience with testing tools such as Postman
  •  Excellent design, problem solving and debugging skills
