You will play a pivotal role in influencing project specifications and partnering with engineering firms to deliver high-performance, integrated facility architectures. Responsibilities Cultivate long-term partnerships with consulting engineers and mechanical contractors to provide technical guidance and solution design. Influence project outcomes by engaging early in the design cycle for mission-critical HVAC and applied system projects. Develop comprehensive technical proposals, scopes of work, and system architecture plans for complex controls packages. Conduct high-impact product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase system capabilities. Manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and strategic business development. Collaborate with internal project management and service teams to ensure seamless system integration and long-term lifecycle support. Provide expert-level knowledge on DDC architecture, open protocols like BACnet and Modbus, and sequence of operations. Required Skills 7+ years of experience in
BMS, HVAC
controls, or building automation sales. Proven track record of success in specification-driven sales environments. Deep understanding of applied HVAC systems, integration strategies, and commissioning processes. Strong ability to interpret complex blueprints, control diagrams, and technical specifications. Exceptional business acumen with the ability to mentor and lead sales initiatives. Preferred Skills Experience working within the Pacific Northwest engineering and construction market. Advanced proficiency in building energy management software and integration tools. Demonstrated history of managing multi-stakeholder relationships in large-scale construction projects.
