We are looking for a talented Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Amazon Kids team. You will be able to use your skills in a real-time, large-scale, distributed environment. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and passionate about quality and consumer products. Our goal is to create a revolutionary experience for parents and kids to enjoy on our Amazon family of devices. Come help build the future of Amazon devices and services! Key job responsibilities Work with Product & Development teams to design and implement test strategies to deliver a quality consumer software product. Implement test automation while driving processes to reduce manual test coverage. Define quality metrics and implement measurements to determine test effectiveness, testing efficiency, and the overall quality of the software. Ensure our products meet high standards of quality, performance, security and reliability. Help tackle cross-platform engineering challenges and contribute creative ideas to the Amazon Kids quality engineering team.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of quality assurance engineering experience Experience in automation testing Experience in manual testing Experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer 3+ years of work with Software Quality Assurance (SQA) methodology and tools experience Experience with test plan development, building the necessary test bench infrastructure, developing tests and verifying the design Experience building test automation frameworks and tools Fluency with GenAI technology Hands-on experience with test planning, test designing and execution, performance and stress testing, implementing and maintaining high quality test automation of both client and server systems Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in managing and troublshooting network Experience programmatically testing products, measuring test coverage, developing the best automation, driving testability and diagnostic Master's degree Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
