The incumbent will assist in procuring new equipment, ordering supplies and process business card orders. Approve payment for vendor monthly services and equipment invoices through Info. Advantage. Personal Leave Program:

The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and based on Caltrans's evolving telework policy. Caltrans supports telework, recognizing that in-person attendance may be required based on operational needs. Employees are expected to be able to report to their worksites with minimum notification if an urgent need arises. The selected candidate will be required to commute to the headquartered location as needed to meet operational needs. Business travel may be required, and reimbursement considers an employee's designated headquartered location, primary residence, and may be subject to CalHR regulations or applicable bargaining unit contract provisions. All commute expenses to the headquartered location will be the responsibility of the selected candidate. Working Conditions Position located at 111 Grand Ave, Oakland, Alameda County. Employee will work in a climate-controlled environment. However, due to periodic problems with the heating and air conditioning,the building temperature may fluctuate. The primary work area is located in the basement without windows and no available natural light. The work environment is fast-paced, busy and requires considerable flexibility in managing time, priorities, and assignments, It can be demanding and/or stressful. Working hours will be set sometime between 7:00am and 5:00pm, Employees may be exposed to loud noise from, but not limited to, Reprographics equipment. Additionally, some graphic equipment uses high-voltage electricity. Extra care must be taken around such equipment. Occasional travel may be involved to purchase supplies.
Overtime may be required and vacations may be restricted during peak times, lack of coverage, and fiscal year-end closing. This is a Limited Term position which may be extended to 24 months or become permanent. Minimum Requirements
