Job Description

SAP Financial Accounting Architect. Start date is ASAP and will last for 7+ MONTHS. This is a temp to perm role local to Brea, CA preferred; Onsite 4x a week Pay Rate is 80-95/hr. Skills (EXPERT/ADVANCED/NONE) Financial Accounting

Finance and Controlling Architect Questions (must answer YES to #5-9)

MBA Finance or CA Preferred:
SAP Certified in S/4
HANA Finance or Management Accounting Preferred:
Does candidate have experience with Central Finance, Group Reporting, or Treasury modules.
Preferred:
Exposure to multinational rollouts Does candidate have 12-15 years of SAP Finance & Controlling experience, including S/4HANA Finance (Central Finance experience preferred) Does candidate have deep funtional xpertise in General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center/Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, and COPA Does candidate have strong understanding of financial compliance frameworks - SOX, FDA, and IFRS Does candidate have experience in multi-entity, multi-country environments within manufacturing or healthcare industries Does candidate have strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced
ECC & SAP S/4HANA
Finance & Controlling (FICO) Architect to solution, manage design, implementation, and governance of finance and controlling processes The FICO Architect will play a key role in harmonizing global financial processes, ensuring compliance with American statutory, audit, and regulatory standards including FDA, SOX, and other financial reporting requirements. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead
ECC & SAP S/4HANA
Finance and Controlling solution design, configuration, and process alignment.
  • Translate global and regional finance, accounting, and cost management requirements into optimized SAP solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance, statutory accounting, and audit standards (FDA,, SOX, IFRS).
  • Drive standardization of financial processes across entities and geographies.
  • Collaborate with business, tax, and audit teams to define control frameworks and financial reporting structures.
  • Support integration with Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, and Project Systems for end-to-end financial visibility.
  • Coordinate with Customer stakeholders and offshore teams for solution delivery and continuous improvement. Required Skills & Experience
  • 12-15 years of SAP Finance & Controlling experience, including S/4HANA Finance (Central Finance experience preferred).
  • Deep functional expertise in General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center/Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, and COPA.
  • Strong understanding of financial compliance frameworks - SOX, FDA, and IFRS.
  • Experience in multi-entity, multi-country environments within manufacturing or healthcare industries.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferably MBA Finance or CA
  • SAP Certified in S/4HANA Finance or Management Accounting.
  • Experience with Central Finance, Group Reporting, or Treasury modules.
  • Exposure to multinational rollouts.
