Sr. Space Operations Integrator (TS/SCI)

Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an experienced Space Operations Integrator to support the U.S. Space Force's Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power portfolio. This role serves as a critical liaison between operational users, acquisition teams, and technical organizations, helping deliver next‑generation warfighter capabilities to the Space Force. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in space operations and can translate operational mission needs into technical and acquisition solutions that support enterprise space missions.
Location:
El Segundo, CA Responsibilities:
Provide space operations expertise supporting requirements development, CONOPS creation, systems design, testing, and integration activities. Assist program offices in translating operational mission requirements into technical capabilities and acquisition strategies. Support tactical and operational command and control analysis for space mission systems. Coordinate closely with Program Managers, Contracting Officers, Systems Engineers, and external mission partners. Review technical, operational, and acquisition documentation to support informed program decisions. Represent the government in technical meetings, working groups, and integration forums. Support the transition of prototype capabilities into secure, enterprise‑level operational applications. Assist with development and refinement of acquisition strategies for space systems and capabilities. Identify program execution challenges and provide recommendations to improve outcomes. Develop presentations, executive briefings, status updates, and strategic communication products for government stakeholders. Support integration efforts across multiple organizations to improve standardization and operational effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required. 14+ years of experience supporting space systems, space operations, or related national security space programs. Demonstrated experience working directly with operational space missions and mission users. Strong understanding of space system development, integration, and deployment processes. Experience supporting government acquisition, systems engineering, or operational integration efforts. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical, operational, and executive stakeholders. Ability to operate independently in a highly collaborative and fast‑paced environment.
Clearance Requirement:
Must possess an in‑scope T5 background investigation adjudicated for SCI eligibility and enrolled in Continuous Vetting (if applicable). Must be willing to obtain SCI and/or SAP access . Must be willing to consent to a polygraph examination if required.
Preferred:
Experience supporting Space Domain Awareness (SDA) , Space Control, or Combat Power missions. Experience working within U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command, National Security Space, or related organizations. Experience transitioning prototype capabilities into operational fielded systems. Familiarity with acquisition planning, operational analysis, and enterprise space architectures.
Compensation:
Pay range: $200,000 - $240,000 (Based on years of relevant experience)
