The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced BenAdmin Connections Specialist to join our growing Benefits Technology team. This is a critical, client-facing role responsible for building and managing the electronic data integrations that connect insurance carriers, benefits administration platforms, and payroll systems — ensuring our broker partners and their clients experience seamless, accurate benefits data exchange from day one. If you are a benefits technology professional with deep hands-on expertise in carrier and payroll integrations, a strong command of leading BenAdmin platforms, and the ability to serve as a trusted subject matter expert for brokers and internal stakeholders alike, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Integration & Connectivity Management Lead the end-to-end management of electronic data connections between carriers, benefits administration platforms, and payroll systems. You will own integration workflows from kickoff through testing and go-live, partnering closely with internal payroll integration teams to ensure complete, reliable data connectivity for broker clients. Benefits Administration Platform Expertise Serve as an internal authority on BenAdmin platform configuration and carrier connectivity. Review carrier structure documents against platform builds, identify configuration gaps, and provide actionable guidance to ensure benefit administration systems are properly aligned with carrier requirements prior to data transmission. Testing & Discrepancy Resolution Drive the testing of carrier connections and EDI feeds, leading discrepancy resolution efforts across carriers, payroll platforms, and BenAdmin systems. Generate and maintain discrepancy reports, investigate eligibility and enrollment data inconsistencies, and ensure full integration accuracy before any client goes live. Broker & Stakeholder Liaison Act as the primary point of contact between account managers, brokers, clients, BenAdmin platforms, payroll teams, and carriers. Communicate integration timelines, surface risks early, and deliver clear resolution strategies. Your ability to translate technical integration details into actionable guidance will be essential to broker confidence and client satisfaction. Process Improvement Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration processes, documentation, and best practices. Mentor junior team members and help elevate the overall capability of the integration team. What We're Looking For 4+ years of experience in benefits technology with a strong focus on carrier and payroll integrations, BenAdmin platform configuration, and system administration Proven hands-on expertise with one or more leading benefits administration platforms, including Employee Navigator, Ease, bswift, Benefitfocus, PlanSource, ADP, or comparable systems (Employee Navigator experience is a strong plus) Demonstrated experience managing EDI file testing, troubleshooting data transmission issues, and resolving eligibility and enrollment discrepancies across multiple carriers and broker partners Strong working knowledge of employee benefits plan structure, eligibility logic, and compliance standards including ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data mapping, validation, and structured analysis Exceptional communication skills, with the confidence and clarity to work directly with brokers, carriers, and internal stakeholders Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple concurrent integration projects in a fast-paced environment Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with experience mentoring or coaching junior colleagues What Amwins Offers Compensation commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits package effective on your first day of employment Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) A collaborative, continuing-education-focused work environment Clear pathways for career advancement Access to formal sales and leadership development programs Amwins is an equal opportunity employer.
